The Green Suits, LLC, a nationally recognized talent recruitment company for the clean energy, sustainability, green business, and good social industries, saw ROI for their social media marketing programs—on LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook—wither. The company sought bold ideas for “owning” their platform and quickly attracting new clients and talent for recruitment. They also wanted a strategy that would super-charge brand awareness and position them as an industry thought leader.
In engaging with The Green Suits, we discovered that founder Dan Smolen began his career as on-air radio talent. We encouraged him to leverage this talent and launch the Green Suits Radio podcast.
Green Suits Radio is one of the first podcasts to help people seeking careers in clean energy, sustainability, green business, and social good. The podcasts also provide advice and strategies for people currently in the industry on how to scale their careers.
We helped create a solution the client owns. We created the marketing and content strategies and launch plans for the podcasts. This includes the commercial stop-sets, which are commercials that run throughout their podcast promoting their recruiting services, and their book, Tailoring the Green Suit: Empowering Yourself for an Executive Career in the New Green Economy.
Pivoting Strategies is also creating a website for the podcast and providing distribution support through iTunes, GooglePlay, Stitcher, and other podcast channels.
Green Suits Radio launched in the summer of 2016. Almost immediately, it generated fresh client-prospects and talent recruits for The Green Suits, LLC as well as additional book sales revenue.
The podcast has also helped position Mr. Smolen as a thought leader in the industry and land premier speaking engagements to discuss green jobs and career empowerment strategies.
“Pivoting Strategies IS The Green Suits, LLC’s virtual CMO. We could not have pulled off our bold marketing platform play—nor achieved such immediate success in becoming the leading brand in green business and social good talent recruitment—without them.”
